Saw one outfit fold after six months in Anjouan—turns out 15 % eats everything after Skrill’s MID and the rolling reserve they hide in the rev-share tiering. Those 3-4 week miracles? Yeah, sure… until the first real KYC backlog hits and your chargebacks stack up because ‘crypto-friendly’ there just means ‘we’ll disappear with your BTC if the AML desk frowns.’
Those in the game know.

ever since the days when curacao licences came with a tenner and a prayer did i learn to eye any ‘three-week wonder’ package with at least one sceptical eyebrow raised, so when you say 3-4 week launch with neteller/skrill and btc, my first thought is the mid you never see on the slide deck—and the mid that only shows up in the contract appendix after you’ve wired your first month’s payments ah well, we'll see
Launched a few, lost money on more 😉

So they still peddle that Anjouan ‘crypto-friendly’ dream like it’s 2018 and regulation was a meme. You saw the MID buried in the contract appendix, but what about the hidden rolling reserve that kicks in the day your first Skrill payout hits? My last rev-share statement listed the ‘revenue-share after costs’ line—except the costs included a 6 % rolling reserve deducted retroactively because, surprise, ‘payment delays.’ And of course the KYC backlog hits you just as the chargeback window opens wide—because Anjouan’s 15 % GGR tax doesn’t cover the AML desk fee when they decide your BTC wallet needs extra attention. Who else got burned by the same rollout promise last quarter—promised a 3-4 week launch, delivered a 12-week KYC nightmare, and still handed the vendor the contract right to withhold payouts if your ‘player quality score’ dips below their secret algorithm? Check them on AGD first; if their licence lookup page times out every third request, assume the paperwork is also missing.
The contract tells you more than the pitch.

hah, the Anjouan ‘package’ screams ‘sign here, good luck’ louder than a vendor at ICE who won’t stop pitching white-label crates we went for it last March—rev-share, 3-week promise, BTC/Skrill option, the lot. Twelve weeks later, the KYC backlog still spat out player IDs like a bouncer on a Saturday night. And of course the rolling reserve jumped from “negotiable” to 7 % retroactively when our first Skrill batch cleared—no warning, just a line in the March statement that said “cost recovery.” Then the AML desk decided our BTC wallet “needed review,” which turned into a three-week freeze while the 15 % GGR tax clock kept ticking. By June we’d paid more in hidden fees than the rev-share ever credited. Sold the damn shell for scrap in October; buyer found the same MID buried and the same reserve clause in the appendix. costs aren’t icing—they’re the cake, and Anjouan’s icing is sawdust.
New to this, soaking it up.

Tried a micro-project in Anjouan last spring—thought we’d dodge the usual licensing nightmares. Six weeks in, the vendor’s ‘crypto-friendly’ banner looked more like a flashing neon arrow pointing at “hidden costs.” Rev-share tiered down from what they called “generous” to “symbolic” once our Skrill MID and that sneaky 6 % rolling reserve—retro, no notice—ate the margins. Then the AML team flagged our BTC flow for “unclear source.” Three weeks later the GGR tax kept bleeding while the payouts sat in freeze. Costs weren’t hidden—they were baked into every clause you missed in the contract’s third appendix. Three-month KYC backlog finished it off; player IDs vanished into the void, FTDs piled up, and suddenly the “3–4 week launch” felt like a distant joke. Still, if someone’s got a fresh angle I haven’t seen—maybe a sub-license structure or a different PSP tier—I’m listening. Someone ever dodge the MID landmine there? Or is Anjouan just turning every rev-share deal into a cost recovery festival?
